Now that I'm back to working a part-time job with not many hours, I've been considering taking paper art commissions. I just...don't know where to start. I'll welcome any tips and tricks and pricing suggestions from people who've done this before. I'm clueless!

By siriuslylostwerewolf! I don't normally do this sort of thing, but I'm bored. So. Yeah.
Rules:

TEN USELESS FACTS ABOUT MOI
1. I can open doors with my feet.
2. I really, really love Bath and Body Works candles.
3. I tend to hoard things that I think could be used/intend to use for a craft projects.
4. I own approx. 317 books. I say approx because those are just the ones I've managed to catalog on LibraryThing. I haven't put all of my books on the site, and there are a lot in boxes in my basement.
5. I still live at home, and it sucks.
6. I'm in grad school for library science, and I'm really not excited about it. But if it gets me a job with good paycheck, then so be it.
7. I have an intense love of bats, and will except any bat-related items as gifts. So long as they're cute or awesome. No ugly bats allowed.
8. If you want to win my love with food, buy me donuts. Or Brach's Jube Jel Cherry Hearts (they're the best Valentine's candy ever. You don't even know!).
9. I collect movie posters for some of my favorite movies. Most of the ones I've purchased are originals.
10. I'd love to move out of state/country, but the idea of possibly not getting to attend Dragon*Con because I'm so far away makes me incredibly reluctant. XD

No. No I don't have special eyes, which means everyone carries my brand!
2) If you could be reincarnated as anything, what would it be?
A gagillionaire.
3) Favorite historical figure?
I don't think I really have one? Ghenghis Khan was pretty awesome, though (this could be because he's the only historical figure I've actually read a bio for.)
4) Which do you like better: Italian food or Chinese food?
Italiano!
5) If you could learn any language, what would it be?
Sindarin.
Any real language, though? Irish.
6) Favorite book?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
7) What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
African or European?
8) Favorite Pixar film?
Oooh..so hard...Ratatouille, I think.
9) Favorite Dreamworks film?

Devious Journal Entry

I think I'm long over due for a sketch dump here. I've been posting most of my original character art on my Tumblr I made for that purpose (see the link at the top of this section), but I do believe I need to update some art on here. I have no idea when I'll be getting around to doing that, but I'm just saying it needs to happen. I'm also feeling that I need to do another paper artwork, and there is that Doc Worth one I haven't finished yet...

Grad school!

Just a post to let ya'll know I got accepted into grad school!
I'll be studying for a Master of Library and Information Science degree through Valdosta State's online program, and I'm fortunate, I'll finish in about 2 years. I've also been working on my feminine 10th Doctor coat lately, and I think I've finally figured out how the crazy back of it works. I've got a lot of muslin testing to do before I get anywhere near working with the final fabric, but I'm getting quite excited about this.
Also posting to test out this new journal skin (thanks to siriuslylostwerewolf for pointing me in the right direction. XD).
